Vsticking VKsma Kit is on clearance now!
Today I’m taking a look at the mid-range offering from Vsticking, the VKsma, which offers all the more advanced features of the top of the line Yihi version, unlike the entry-level IPV version, whilst still managing to hit an affordable price point.
The VSticking VKsma Kit is an auto squonk kit with a YiHi chip. But getting down to basics the kit comprises of the VKsma mod plus a choice of a rebuildable atomizer or a disposable pod atomizer. And the main feature of this – like the IPV version is the fact this is a squonker that automatically sends e-liquid to the atomizer for you.
Specifications
Size 47.5 x 79 x 18.6 mm / Weight 138grams
1400mAh internal battery / 1amp charging
0.69” OLED screen
Auto filling function (auto squonking) with temperature control
3ml tank capacity (2ml for TPD)
The VKsma has a 1400mAh capacity with 1amp charging, and this was borne out in my tests with a 0.96amp charge rate and a recorded capacity of 1395mAh. It took a slightly disappointing 1hr 38minutes to achieve this though.
There’s a proprietary non-510 connector up top for your atomizer. The three control buttons are all raised from the main body of the mod with a decent amount of resistance and zero button rattle. The tiny screen means you will need your reading glasses if you’re of a certain age like myself, it is thankfully fairly bright though so seeing it outside isn’t a problem.
The kit comes with the single coil SMI RDA or with the SMA ADA which is more of a disposable pod. The ADA comes in 1ohm or 0.3ohm versions.
If you use the RDA atomizer then the device has a temperature control (DIY) user mode. If using the ADA (Auto Dripping Atomiser) pod the device will offer different power options:
- 0.3ohm (Ni-Mn Alloy) – choice of 10-15W (P1) or 20-25W (P2)
- 1ohm (SS316) – choice of 5-6W (P1) or 10-12W (P2)
Pros
Solid construction
Inexpensive pre-built SMA-ADAs
Cons
Works better with thinner eliquids
Only one SMA-ADA supplied in the kit
